Everyone loves investing billions of dollars into the creation of these brand new, ultra green, future cities. These are truly the wave of the future. And they know it. These cities are often designed to look like something out of a scifi movie. According to who you ask, they either look like true Utopia’s that promote a more sustainable, eco-friendly philosophy or they look like a dystopian novel come to life.
Then there’s Telosa, America’s newest entry into the future city landscape. It aims to be a desert city that will be an oasis from the modern hustle and bustle of modern day America. This city is designed in order to be equally convenient for all of the millions of inhabitants that are expected to live there in the next few decades. Fossil fuel burning cars won’t be allowed anywhere on the streets of this new kind of city. Then there’s the fifteen minute commute which could take you from any place to another in the city in that span of time.
Of course we’ve also gotta discuss the billionaire behind it all. Marc Lore is a billionaire known for several successful companies in the internet marketplace business. Then he went on to redesign how Walmart did all of their ecommerce. In the end, this left him as a brilliant, fascinating billionaire who had just enough money to throw it on creating a city of the future.
