Welcome back, Richest fans! Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have been rivals for years. They’ve regularly traded places on who the richest person in the world is. As a result, most people would think there’s little the two titans of industry have in common. However, that’s not exactly the case. Today, we’re going to look at the similarities and differences between the Amazon and Tesla leaders. We’ll compare their childhoods, their thoughts on AI, their property portfolios, their appearances in Hollywood films, and more to see what unites and separates them!
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. We start off by examining Bezos’s and Musk’s history in the realm of cryptocurrency. Next, we’ll see which films the respective CEOs made cameos in. Afterwards, we’ll compare their mammoth property portfolios. We’ll then see how the two share stories on building their empires. Next, we have their vastly different upbringings. We’ll then see the connection the two have with the iconic Explorers Club. We’ll examine their very different opinions on the rise of AI. We’ll see the long history of both men wanting to explore space from a young age. We’ll then compare the sizes and values of Amazon and Tesla. As well as see Bezos’s and Musk’s net worths at the time of making the video. Then, we’ll see how the two are looking to combat the effects of climate change. Finally, we’ll briefly explore how much Mackenzie Scott, Bezos’s former wife, has been donating to good causes.
