A timepiece steeped in history.The mechanism of L’Universelle pocket watch has been crafted by our watchmakers incorporating the movement blank created by Louis Elisee Piguet. In 1899, this movement was delivered to the German watchmaker Durrstein Uhrenfabrik Union Glasshutte, where it has been enriched and cased.After disappearing for decades, L’Universelle made its comeback in 1993 at an auction. The ultra-complicated timepiece saw some changes along the years, as it was personalised to suit the owner’s taste. From 2012 to 2016 the watch was fully restored and cased-up in its original pink gold case at our Restoration Workshop.
