OMEGA’s latest space watch.Made in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA), OMEGA’s Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer is a unique 45 mm chronograph, cased in grade 2 titanium, which can track time across two planets. Developed to assist scientists, it offers a range of research tools, including an MTC function to track Mars’ sol date and time at the prime meridian, and a solar compass, to find true north on Earth and Mars.Its bold analogue and digital readings, set against a black dial, are made even clearer by Earth and Mars symbols to distinguish which functions are in use. This display is circled by a bezel ring in red hematite colour, reminiscent of Mars’ distinctive dust. Providing power is OMEGA’s 5622 Calibre. A thermo compensated, quartz movement, which handles all functions with speed and efficiency. On the caseback, embossed with OMEGA’s famous Speedmaster wording and Seahorse logo, are the words ESA TESTED AND QUALIFIED.
